The welcoming remarks were made by Lucy K, a radio presenter from NBC radio, who then handed over to the guest speaker: Papa Shilongeni, a visual artist and musician. Shilongeni gave a brief background on his experiences as an artist in Namibia. This Public Discussion was broadcast on various national radio stations and took place in front of a live audience, that consisted mainly of students from the College of the Arts, students from America and the interns from the HSF.
A question and answer session was held whereby the students at the College of the Arts were able to address questions to Papa Shilongeni.
